Steve Leslie has 30 years of experience as a roofing contractor. Steve got his start working with his father, Ralph Leslie, the founder of Eau Claire Roofing. Operating as president from 2002-2006, Steve expanded the company dramatically when he emphasized work in the commercial sector and collaborated with the exceptional roofing products manufacturer, Duro-last Roofing, Inc., “The Worlds Best Roof.”
In December of 2006 Steve returned to Hood River, Oregon, where he previously resided for nineteen years, and launched Competitive Commercial Roofing, Inc. (CCR). Within six months of operation, CCR earned a Duro-last Century Club award and generated over $500,000.00 in contracts. In 2008 and 2009 Steve’s experienced professional roofing crew earned for CCR Duro-Last’s prestigious Master Contractor Quality Award for consistently installing Duro-Last Roofing Systems rated “Outstanding” in workmanship. In 2010 they were awarded Duro-last’s Master Elite Contractor award.
As President and Owner of Competitive Commercial Roofing, Inc., and previously of Eau Claire Roofing, Inc., Steve promotes high-performance, energy efficient, and environmentally responsible roofing solutions that are cost effective for a client’s optimum long-term investment. He has extensive experience installing, repairing and replacing EPDM, built-up, modifieds, steel shingles, tile, slate, standing seam and composition roofing systems with his roofing crews. He and his crews have been recognized for outstanding installation of the Duro-last roofing system including fully adhered, ballast, and mechanically attached systems on concrete, lightweight concrete, tectum, metal, and wood decks and over existing roofs, built up, gravel, EPDM, modifieds, and TPO’s. His projects resolve HVAC, electrical, gas and general contractor issues, and meet site-specific safety, fire and wind ratings supported by excellent, no-fuss guarantees.
Peg co-founded Competitive Commercial Roofing with her husband Steve. She brings her diverse business experiences to the day-to-day operations of the company.
Jordan has a degree in Construction Engineering Management from Oregon State University. Prior to joining Competitive Commercial Roofing, he worked as a project engineer with a heavy civil firm based out of Bozeman, Montana.
April is an architectural designer and business consultant. She collaborates on a project basis with CCR.
Chase is committed to promoting sustainable practices in the roofing industry. He specializes in the integration of roof-mounted solar-power technologies.
